As a graduate of our Wikipedia writing course, you’ll have the opportunity to improve the content and articles of the world’s largest encyclopedia!
Who is it for?
• Our courses are open to anyone aged 18 and over
• They are designed for curious, knowledge-loving individuals
• Basic digital literacy and strong reading/writing skills in Hebrew are required
What Does the Course Include?
Writing on Wikipedia requires adherence to site guidelines developed over the years. The course equips participants with the necessary tools to write Wikipedia articles and includes:
• An enriching experience in encyclopedic writing: collecting information, neutral writing, citing reliable sources, and more
• Navigation of the Wikipedia editing interface
• Hands-on practice through a personal writing project
• A sense of purpose and satisfaction through contributing to the world’s largest encyclopedia!
Bonus:
Course graduates are invited to attend additional enrichment meetings and participate in Hebrew Wikipedia community activities—conferences, lectures, and social events.
